******** SAMPLE OF "CLARENCE'S LAGNIAPPE EMAIL LIST" content: ******

Welcome to Clarence's Lagniappe email list. This issue features Baton Rouge area Mardi Gras Parades 2008.

Welcome to Clarence's information on the Baton Rouge Mardi Gras 2008 parades, schedule, and routes.

These are the Baton Rouge Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday season) 2008 parades schedules, routes and official web sites of the Baton Rouge Mardi Gras Krewes. Mardi Gras in Baton Rouge continues through Mardi Gras day which is on Tuesday February 5th, 2008. Mardi Gras is French for Fat Tuesday and Baton Rouge is French for Red Stick.

The Capital city boasts of parades that are as fun as the krewes in New Orleans, but much more family friendly. That is, of course, with the exception of the wild and wacky Spanish Town Mardi Gras Parade where almost anything goes.

The Baton Rouge Mardi Gras parades are the Baton Rouge Spanish Town Mardi Gras Ball, Krewe of Artemis, Krewe Mystique de la Capitale, Krewe of Orion, Mystic Krewe of Mutts, Krewe of St. Amant Boat Parade, Krewe of Denham Springs, Port Allen Krewe of Good Friends of the Oaks Parade, Baton Rouge Nextel Mardi Gras Mambo 10K Run, Port Allen Krewe of Touch of Class Civic and Social Club Parade, Addis Volunteer Fire Department Mardi Gras parade, Baton Rouge Krewe Of Jupiter parade, Krewe of Southdowns and the Spanish Town Mardi Gras Parade.
